Dr. Millsaps, dentist in Hickory, NC, has built his state of the art office using some of the most high tech equipment available to dentists today, which include digital impressions, intraoral cameras, digital radiographs (3D Imaging), and patient records. With the understanding that technological developments in dentistry is its future, he hopes to consistently update the practice in order to keep pace with the changing world of dentistry. Hickory Dentistry offers electronic communication between the office and the patient. For those patients who prefer to request appointments on-line and receive reminders via text or e-mail, we have that ability.
Dr. Millsaps also understands that your time is important as well and will do his best to provide dental treatment in an efficient manner without sacrificing quality or compassion. We pledge to do everything in our power to respect your time commitments and find appointment times convenient for both you and our office. In addition to appointments on Fridays, dental appointments are available before and after work.

Dentist JOSHUA MILLSAPS, DDS, PA
Dr. Millsaps graduated from Hickory High School in 1998 and from the School of Dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005. He has been practicing here in Hickory, NC since 2008. He is the past president of the Western Piedmont Dental Society and is actively involved in continuing education and service related events. Dr. Millsaps is a member of the NC Dental Society and Seattle Study Club. Dr. Millsaps has his Mastership from the International Dental Implant Association.
Dentist DR. EUGENE MODLIN
Dr. Modlin graduated from the School of Dentistry at UNC Chapel Hill in 1982. He owned his own practice in Viewmont area of Hickory from 1982-2008. He joined our practice in 2016. We are thrilled and honored to have Dr. Modlin as part of our team!
Dentist William F. Straka, DDS
Dr. Straka is a native of Ohio where he earned both a bachelors and a masters of science degree in biology at the University of Toledo. He later taught biology at the College of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City, NC. Dr. Straka went on to further his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his DDS degree in 1985.
